About Creative CommonsGILF Licences
GILF provides seven licensing options that comprise six Creative Commons (CC) licences and the GILF Restrictive Licence template. Together with an appropriate copyright statement, they provide the conditions of use and access.
Creative Commons licences comprise the following conditions that determine the legal restrictions of each licence:

Attribution |
This licence allows the replication, distribution, display, performance and remixing of copyrighted work with the proviso that use is credited to the author.

Share Alike |
This licence allows others to distribute derivative works provided the new works are licensed under identical conditions

Non-commercial |
This licence allows the replication, distribution, display or performance of the work, as well as derivative works based on the product – but it is restricted only to non-commercial uses.

No Derivative Works |
This licence allows the replication, distribution, display or performance of the work, but is restricted in that the work must be used exactly as per the original work.

All GILF licences are provided in plain English, Licence Deed and Legal Code. When applied to a document, web page or other form of publication, GILF licences are represented by a licence badge that contains a link to the Licence Deed.
